This page is all about ‘Adventures of an Anxious Mind’ where I set myself physical challenges in order to raise money for Mind.
As well as raising money, ‘Adventures of an Anxious Mind’ has a number of other purposes:
EXERCISE – As we all know, exercise is an important part of trying to control anxiety and lift depression.
CHALLENGE – I push myself out of my comfort zone by tackling some of my anxious triggers. The challenges also motivate me, and give me a sense of purpose and ambition.
ADVENTURE – The challenges are fun and take me to places I have never been before both in the UK and around the world. There are so many exciting adventures to choose from, including Walking all the National Trails in the UK (and running parts of them); The Three Peaks Challenge; The Big Five Marathon in South Africa; and Climbing Kilimanjaro.
